Future Improvements

Broader Language Support

Expand live analysis beyond JavaScript/TypeScript/Python to include Java, C#, Ruby, Go, Rust, and more. Each language will have tailored smell detection patterns.

Offline Review Panel

Embed the markdown renderer to remove dependency on external CDNs, ensuring the review panel works offline or in restricted network environments.

Large File Handling

Improve analysis of very large files by analyzing in smaller chunks or providing summarized results, avoiding AI token limits.

Quick-Fix Suggestions

Offer quick-fix suggestions and refactoring prompts for common code smells, allowing one-click improvements where possible.

Theme Customization

Add customization options for the review panel's theme - toggle anime quotes/images for professional mode, or choose different quote themes (Naruto, Dragon Ball, etc.).

CI/CD Integration

Explore integration with version control and CI pipelines - generate code smell reports for pull requests or track code quality trends over time.
